There's nothing like a little gingerbread to get you in the mood for Christmas! Oh wait, we haven't even done Thanksgiving yet you say? Oh well! It's close enough. And who can resist gingerbread houses for charity? 
I love this picture of Marley, Ethan and Kendrick. It's so appropriate. Marley is chatting away while dad takes the picture, Kendrick is striking some kind of ninja pose and, if you look closely, you will see that Ethan has lost a shoe behind him.
Thanksgiving Point puts on a Gingerbread Festival every year in support of the PTA and BSA. This year our good friend, Brenda, was asked to create a gingerbread "house". She is so creative ... she made a gingerbread treasure chest. The sponsor was a jewelry company and they even used real jewels!
It's so fun to have such a creative friend, if only a little of that would rub off on me! GREAT JOB, Brenda!
